Library offers tax assistance at Main, Western, LaSalle, and Tutt

The St. Joe County Public Library is collaborating with the Mendoza College of Business at the University of Notre Dame, Saint Mary’s College and Goodwill Industries to offer tax assistance to local Indiana residents.

Please note that taxes are due April 18, 2022.


ND/SMC Tax Assistance

Volunteers from Notre Dame and Saint Mary’s College will provide fifteen workshops at Main Library, beginning on February 10. Online registration for ND/SMC tax assistance opens two weeks prior to each date. Masks are required!

Main Library
Thursdays 5pm-7pm & Saturdays 9am-12pm, 1-3pm
February 10 – April 9, 2022

VITA/Goodwill Tax Assistance

To make an appointment, call Goodwill at 574-800-1361. Masks are required and VITA requires proof of vaccination for anyone who makes an appointment at Western, LaSalle, or Tutt.

Do I qualify for this service?

ND/SMC services are limited to individuals and families earning $57,000 or less. VITA limits income at $66,000.
