Checkouts & Fees
Log into your account to see the due date of all materials you have checked out. Most books may be checked out for 21 days; download the complete schedule below.
We will send overdue and hold notices to your email, or we will call you if we don’t have your email address.
We also can send text message notices. To sign up:
- Text SIGNUP to 574-406-0634
- Follow the prompts and send your library card number, then PIN number.
- You will receive a message that you have successfully registered with Shoutbomb.
After a successful registration, you will receive two (2) messages. The first will ask you to provide your email; this is optional and you are not required to provide it. The second will indicate which of the available services are active/inactive.
After you are registered, you may text MYBOOKS at any time to see the status of your library items.

Curious to see what you’ve checked out over the years? Access your borrowing history:
- Log in to your Bibliocommons account.
- Click on the arrow next to your username in the upper right corner and choose Borrowing History from the drop down menu.
You may turn your borrowing history on and off at will, but please note that if you turn it off, you will lose the record of everything checked out up to that point. When you turn your borrowing history back on, your history will begin with the next item returned. Individual items may not be removed from the borrowing history.
To turn off your Borrowing History, go to My Settings > Account Preferences > Borrowing History.
If using the Classic Catalog:
Log in to your account (upper right corner) to access your reading history through the Classic Catalog.
