Stories of the Great Migration with Isabel Wilkerson

The St. Joseph County Public Library welcomes Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and New York Times best seller Isabel Wilkerson on Monday, February 26, at 6:00 p.m. This Black History Month author event will take place at the Main Library, 304 S. Main St., in the Humphreys Multimedia Room.

Wilkerson is the author of the acclaimed book The Warmth of Other Suns: The Epic Story of America’s Great Migration. At the Library’s event, Wilkerson will speak about the historical significance of the Great Migration and its relevance to current immigration issues. Following the author’s talk, guests can participate in a question and answer session, and Wilkerson will be available for book signing. Copies of her book may be purchased at the event. Advance registration is requested.
