SJCPL Holds Community Update on Main Library Renovation Projects

Who:

  • Debra Futa, executive director of the St. Joseph County Public Library
  • Alex Lamis and Melissa DelVecchio, partners at Robert A.M. Stern Architects (RAMSA)

What: The St. Joseph County Public Library will share information with the public about the upcoming Main Library Renovation and Expansion Projects. Executive Director Debra Futa will speak about the vision behind the project and its impact on downtown South Bend and our community. Architects from RAMSA will give a presentation on the design work that has been done on the project. This presentation will include new renderings of the proposed buildings. A Q&A session will follow.

When: Thursday, December 6, at 5:30 p.m.

Where: Main Library, Colfax Auditorium, 304 S. Main St., South Bend, IN 46601

Why: As plans move forward for this transformative project, Library leadership and architects from RAMSA will share the vision and the plans with our community. The goal of this update is to keep our community informed about project progress.
