
The St. Joe County Public Library is excited to announce that the LaSalle Branch will undergo a transformative renovation to enhance its facilities and better serve the community. To accommodate these upgrades, the LaSalle Branch will temporarily close on May 11th, 2025 and is expected to remain closed until Spring of 2026.
Improved Library Experience
The planned renovation will include the addition of new flexible spaces, as well as a refreshed interior and exterior design ensuring that patrons enjoy modern, inviting areas for reading, studying, and community activities.

Alternative Services at Western Branch
Throughout the renovation, patrons are encouraged to visit the Western Branch, located only 2 miles from the Lasalle Branch. The Western Branch offers the same high-quality services, resources, and programming as LaSalle Branch. Library staff will continue to provide updates about the LaSalle Branch’s renovation progress and are committed to making this transition as smooth as possible for the community.
