Love Libby? Stream movies on Kanopy? There’s one small change coming to the way you sign in.
Beginning October 1, Libby and Kanopy will ask for both your SJCPL library card number and PIN when verifying your account.
The good news: you already have a PIN. It’s the same 4 digit pin you use to sign in to My Account on the SJCPL website.

Before October 1, take a moment to make sure you know your PIN. That way, the next time Libby or Kanopy asks you to verify your card, you can get right back to your audiobook, ebook, or movie.
Already know your PIN? You’re good to go.
Forgot it—or not sure? We can help in a few different ways.
- Reset it online – you will need your library card number.
- Call us at 574-282-4646 with your library card barcode, and if you don’t know your card number we can help with that too.
- Stop by any St. Joe County Public Library location.
What will happen on October 1?
You may be asked to verify your library card the next time you open Libby or Kanopy. Just enter:
Your library card number + your PIN
That’s it. Then it’s back to reading, listening and streaming.
