
Looking for fun date night ideas in May? Or a weekend activity the whole family can enjoy? Flashback Book Fair is back—bigger, better, and more nostalgic than ever. This two-day event features a lively Friday night designed for adults 21+ and a brand-new Saturday session that’s family-friendly. Be a kid again at the library with books from times gone by at our Flashback Book Fair.
All funds go toward purchasing high-quality books for children who participate in the Library’s Summer Reading Club.

Friday Night Festivities (May 9th, 21+ Only) On Friday night, join us for the classic Flashback Book Fair experience designed for adults 21+. With a modest $5 cover at the door, you’ll enjoy a cash bar, DJ, dancing, board games, and great food for purchase! All set against the familiar (yet grown-up) backdrop of a classic school book fair. Yes, pencils and fun erasers will be available! Think retro tunes, lively conversation, and a chance to snag your favorite reads for children in your life, or you can donate them to be provided to kids in the community!
Tickets can be purchased online in advance, which we highly recommend to speed up your check-in process.

- When: May 9th – 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
- Where: Main Library – Community Learning Center
- What to Expect: Cash bar, Food, DJ, Dancing, Table Games, and of course a real-life book fair!
- Tickets: Available at the door, but it’s highly recommended to purchase them in advance
- Why It’s Great: Relive the thrill of a school book fair, in a grown up setting. Sip your favorite drink while browsing your favorite childhood books, hit the dance floor, and soak in the retro vibes!
Saturday Morning Family Fun (May 10th, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM)
- Who’s Invited: All Ages
- Where: Main Library – Community Learning Center
- Activities: Throwback games, free face painting, book browsing, and purchasing.
- Timing: 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM
- Tickets are not required for the Family event on Saturday morning.
- Why It’s Special: It’s our first time opening up the event to the whole family. Whether you’re reliving your childhood favorites or discovering new titles, there’s something for everyone.
