The wait is nearly over! Centre Branch is scheduled to reopen on Tuesday, September 2nd!
After a significant renovation, St. Joe County Public Library is excited to welcome the community back to a refreshed version of Centre Branch.
The $1.5 million renovation includes:
- Fresh updates like new carpet, furniture, and energy-efficient lighting
- New and improved spaces, including brand new study rooms and refreshed meeting rooms.
- An enhanced children’s section, complete with a teardrop camper and canoe for kids to play on.
- The Story Garden: an outdoor space with native landscaping, natural play features, and a Story Trail for families to explore.
Whether you’re looking for a quiet place to work or a fun place to enjoy with your kids or grandkids, this branch will have something for everyone. Centre is the first to undergo renovation as part of Our Next Chapter, our 10-year plan to revitalize all nine St. Joe County Public Library branches.
We can’t wait to show you around. Stop by and visit starting September 2nd, or join us for our ribbon-cutting event on September 9th, and enjoy light refreshments from 4-6pm as we celebrate the reopening.
