Friends of the Library Bookstore hours change January 2024

Beginning January 1, 2024 the hours of the Friends of the Library Bookstore will change. The bookstore will be open from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. every Friday, and will not be open late on the first Friday of the month.

The Bookstore offers a wide variety of books and materials at very reasonable prices.  Proceeds from the sale benefit the St. Joe County Public Library.

Donate your new or used books to the Friends of the Library Bookstore on Fridays during the book sale. You may also drop off donations to any library branch during normal business hours.

Donated books should be in good condition and recent. We do not accept textbooks, encyclopedias, or magazines older than two years old. When you donate a book, remember that all donated books do not necessarily enter the sale. Our Friends of the Library team considers the cost of materials and labor when adding books into the collection, and badly damaged or dated books will be recycled.
