Storyteller Chris Fascione will visit the Main Library on Wednesday, January 3 for an afternoon of laughter for all ages beginning at 3:00 p.m.
Mr. Fascione has toured the United States for over twenty years, performing for schools and libraries and conducting workshops on storytelling and read-aloud techniques for educational professionals. A Storytelling World award winner, he incorporates acting, juggling, and comedy into his performances to promote literacy and a love of reading. He received his theater training from Connecticut College and the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center and worked with several national children’s theater companies such as the Missoula Children’s Theater and Child’s Play Touring Theatre. Originally from Philadelphia, Chris makes his home in Oak Park, Illinois, where he lives with his wife, Diane, and their two sons.
