3D Printing at Studio 304

Create, Design, and Print at Studio 304

Bring your ideas to life with Studio 304’s 3D printing services—available to all St. Joe County Public Library cardholders in good standing. Whether you’re printing something you designed yourself or found online, we’re here to help.

How Much Does it Cost?

3D prints are priced at $0.10 per gram, including support material. Final cost is based on the weight of the printed item. If you want estimate, you can request one when you submit your file. Payment is due at pickup.

How It Works

  • Send your file: Email an .stl or .obj file—or a link to a free file (e.g., from Thingiverse)—to studio304@sjcpl.org. Include your first and second choice for filament color.
  • Wait for processing: Your job will be added to our print queue based on submission date and estimated print time.
  • Pick up & pay: You’ll be notified when your item is ready. Items must be picked up at Studio 304, which is located at the Main Library in downtown South Bend. All items must be picked up within 30 days.
  • Note: Staff may decline prints they deem unreasonable to complete or if they do not conform to our public policy. If your design requires purchase, you must download it and send us the file directly
