The SJCPL Seed Library provides free seeds to encourage home gardening, biodiversity, and sustainable food practices. Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or just getting started, this is a low-stakes way to explore growing your own food, herbs, or flowers—no library card required!

Get ‘em while they’re hot! (Well… before they sprout.) Seeds are available Late March through June, or until they’ve all found a home. Take just what you need to get started, no need to hoard them like a squirrel in autumn!
