Shoe Design Contest for Grades 3-12
This winter, get ready to show off your creativity in our Fresh New Kicks shoe design contest! Bring your boldest ideas to life by creating your own custom shoe design and show what you’ve got. You could win a gift card toward your next favorite pair of kicks or anything else that puts a spring in your step.
How it works:
- Download a shoe design template or pick up a paper copy at your favorite library branch.
- Create your own unique design using one of our three templates.
- Submit your design online below, or in person at any SJCPL location.
Submissions are accepted January 6 – February 3, and only one entry per person will be accepted. The design must be on one of our official templates to qualify.
Prizes awarded to all three age groups (Grades 3-5, 6-8, & 9-12):
- First Place: $50 Target Gift Card
- Second & Third Place: $25 Target Gift Card
Winners will be announced the first week of March 2026 on our Facebook and Instagram. We’ll call or email winners to arrange prize pickup.
