Paige Watch – Day

Welcome to the official Paige Egg Cam

Inside this egg is something more than feathers and fluff. It’s the beginning of a brand-new early literacy initative for families with children ages 0–5.

FAQ

What exactly am I looking at?

An egg.
A very important egg.
Inside is Paige, our new Early Literacy mascot, preparing for her March debut.

Is this really live?

Yes.

When will it Hatch?

Sometime in March. We cannot provide a more specific window because Paige has not shared her calendar with us.

How will I know when it happens?

You will see an insanely cute bird where there was previously just an egg.

Why are you live-streaming an egg?

Because anticipation is part of the fun. And because early growth is quiet before it’s exciting.

Should my child watch?

Sure.

They may stare for 30 seconds.
They may ask 14 questions.
They may declare it “boring” and then insist on checking again five minutes later.

All Normal.

How often should we check back?

Healthy answer: occasionally
Honest answer: Every few minutes.

What happens after it hatches?

That’s when Paige officially introduces Early Birds, our new early literacy initiative for ages 0-5. But first, we wait.

Where is Paige’s mom?

Nearby. Watching. Probably Proud. Like most parents, she’s letting Paige handle her big moment on her own.

Wait…birds don’t read?

Yet.

But they chirp, listen, and repeat sounds which, interestingly, are early literacy skills.

Where is this?

In a secure, undisclosed location with excellent lighting and strong Wi-Fi.

Where did you get a camera with such good night vision?

We borrowed it from Studio 304 using our library card.

What type of bird is Paige?

Not a finch. Not a sparrow.
