Summer Reading Club 2024
Summer is a great time to read!
This popular program challenges young and old alike to reach ambitious reading goals. Thousands of readers participate every year, and the program has proven to have a positive impact on school readiness for children.
Estimated participation: 5,000+
Sponsorship range: $250 – $10,000
All sponsor logos appear in brochures sent home through area schools,

Sponsors may fill out a pledge form to be invoiced, or may pay online.
Contribute to the Endowment
Contribute to the Library’s endowment fund with the Community Foundation of St. Joseph County. Our endowment ensures sustainable support for our programming. Visit the Community Foundation’s donation page.
Support the Library as you shop
- When you purchase groceries at Kroger, a portion of your proceeds can go to the Library if you sign up at Kroger’s Community Rewards webpage.
- Shop at our Friends of the Library book sales on Fridays from noon to 6 p.m. All proceeds support the Library.
Purchase Library Merchandise
Contribute to the library’s early literacy efforts by purchasing apparel and other merchandise, including totes. Mugs and some apparel items are for sale at the St. Joe Coffee Co., and a wide selection of items are available on our online shop. A percentage of each sale will fund the purchase of toys to be available to be loaned to local children in need.

- Donate print and media materials at any of our 10 locations, or at our Friends of the Library bookstore.
Donate local author’s book
If you are a current resident of St. Joseph County, the library will accept one donated copy of your new book.
