We invite artists aged 14 and older to apply for participation in this exciting event. Up to 20-25 artists will be selected after a review process, and notifications will be sent to those chosen. The artwork should creatively connect with summer reading vibes.

Contest Details
Artist Details:
- Each artist will receive a 4×4-foot square space to showcase their artwork.
- Chalk pastels are recommended for their durability (lasting through 2-3 rainstorms before fading).
- Artists will have one week to complete their design. All artwork must be finalized by June 4th at 12:00 pm EST
- Winners in each voting category will receive an SJCPL Prize Pack!
Important Dates and Submission Process:
- March 9 – May 1: Online registration
- May 8: Artists will be notified via email if selected.
- May 28 – June 4: Artists will design squares.
- June 5: Voting day
Public voting will be held for the following categories:
- Best Use of Sidewalk Blemish
- Summer Fun
- Favorite Book Genre
- People’s Choice Award
