In preparation for an amazing Summer Reading Club, the St. Joe County Public Library invites local graphic designers and artists to submit their best design for a Summer Reading Club promotional item, such as a t-shirt or bag.
Artists should submit their designs by midnight on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 via email to communicationsstaff@sjcpl.org. Designs should center around the theme of reading, books or summer reading. The design must include the words: “Summer Reading Club” and can be any digital design, artwork, or illustration. The design can be a circle, square or rectangle and should utilize any combination of up to four of the library’s brand colors: blue, teal, orange and white (but no more than four colors). File format must be in any Adobe Creative Cloud program, Procreate or Canva and at least 300 dpi and up to 10” wide and 15” tall.
The winning artist must be a resident of the local area and will receive a $500 payment for their original design. The artist will be notified in early April, and must be willing to work with library staff to revise their file if needed. The winning artists also must be available to come to the library to shoot two short, promotional videos to help spread excitement of summer reading.
