In collaboration with the St. Joe County Public Library, Circa Arts Gallery has made two local art prints available for the community to purchase, with each sale supporting the Library.
Circa Arts is a local art gallery located on Colfax Avenue that serves to represent the work of local artists and artisans in South Bend. Opened in 2003, owner Kathy Reddy-White wanted to make a gallery space where everyone could feel welcome, even if they didn’t know anything about art.

The first art piece in the collaboration, “South Bend World Famed”, depicts a print of the cover of a promotional pamphlet from 1922. The file was located by a Library patron within the Library’s digital collection of local history items, Michiana Memory, then cleaned up and printed by the Library’s digital media lab, Studio 304.
The second art print may be familiar to anyone who has visited the River Park Branch. Titled “Ripple Effect”, this piece was created by James Jursinic for the Charlotte Hunt art competition in 2020. It depicts the Twyckenham bridge and represents the River Park neighborhood.
Half the proceeds of each sale supports the St. Joe County Public Library. The art prints can be purchased at Circa Arts Wednesday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. or Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
