TALK: Text and Learn for Kindergarten

TALK (Text and Learn for Kindergarten) is a free text messaging service that sends fun activities parents can do with their babies and preschoolers to make any time learning time. Developed by librarians and based on the Every Child Ready to Read program that encourages parents to read, write, sing, talk, and play with their little ones everyday, TALK activities are designed to get kids ready for school success.

Parents and caregivers who sign up will receive two text messages per week and occasionally a message from the Library about storytimes and other free, educational children’s programs.

TALK messages serve all children under age 6 and messages are tailored to each child’s developmental level.
