
Animals of the Arctic Circle
The tundra is coming to the St. Joseph County Public Library on Friday, December 29, 2017, at 3:00 p.m. Silly Safaris, Inc. will entertain the audience with an interactive presentation on Animals of the Arctic - including a live reindeer! The event will take place at the Main Library, 304 S. Main St., South Bend, in the Humphreys Multimedia Room.
Many creatures call the polar regions home, and during this special event guests of all ages will have the opportunity to come face to face with arctic animals. Discover how animals survive in harsh northern climates in this entertaining presentation. Participants will learn about hibernation, migration, survival adaptations, and much more. This event is free and open to the public. Seating is limited. Photographs with the animals are welcome.
