Seasonal Fun at the Main Library

The Main Library plans to get into the holiday spirit with songs and crafts on Friday, December 1st. During this special event, held in conjunction with DTSB's First Friday's festivities, guests can shop at the Friends of the Library Book Sale and then easily walk over to the community plaza near Wayne Street for a small tree lighting ceremony. The Music Village will serenade participants and encourage a carol sing-along. Families can work on simple, reindeer ornaments that will also serve as decorations for the tree.

The fun begins at 6:30 p.m. with SJCPL staff handing out free hot chocolate from the Chicory Café while supplies last. The Library Annex, located next to The Music Village, will be open in the case of inclement weather.
