
Celebrate with Music & Stories
Plan to spend Saturday, November 11th at the Main Library for stories, activities, and entertainment. The 16th Annual Open Book Family Festival boasts award-winning children's musician Jim Gill and an exciting dog demonstration by ECHO Club, Inc. The keynote speaker will be Laura Numeroff, bestselling author of the If You Give a Mouse a Cookie series. Ms. Numeroff is an avid animal lover and visits educational conferences nationwide. Additionally, guests can work on craft projects and take photos with famous storybook characters to commemorate the day. The fun begins at 9:30 a.m. and ends with a 1:30 p.m. carnival experience. The planned schedule is listed below:
Laura Numeroff Presentation: 10:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. Book Signing: 10:45 a.m.
Jim Gill Performances: 1st Show: 10:30 a.m. – 11:45 a.m.
2nd Show: 12:30 p.m. – 1:15 p.m.
ECHO Club, Inc. Dog Demonstration: 11:30 a.m. – Noon
