Inspiration for Crafters

Sewing aficionados are invited to the Francis Branch for two days of crafting fun. On Friday, October 13 and Saturday, October 14, guests can bring their crocheting, needlework, weaving, embroidery, and more. Maker Stations will be set up throughout the building for those who want to try creating wool flowers, felt cell phone cases, pompoms, or catnip mice. Additionally, The Knitters Club members will showcase some of their work and be available to answer questions.

A designated area for material exchange, like yarn, tools, books, and fabric patterns, will give participants the opportunity to mingle and enhance their projects. Guests are welcome to stay the day, or visit for a set amount of time.

For further inspiration, Andy Schmidt will perform piano melodies on both days at 11:00 a.m. Interested parties can also register for a 1:00 p.m. "Loom Knitting" class on October 13 with expert Shabaun Flanagan.
