
To protect our community from COVID-19, social distancing measures will be in place:
- Masks will be required.
- Capacity is limited to ten people at a time, and their time will be limited to 30 minutes.
- Be prepared to wait outside.
- Hand sanitizer and wipes will be available to clean carts and baskets.
Book Sales
The Friends of the Library book sale is open to the public every Friday from 12 noon - 6:00 p.m. On First Fridays, the store extends its hours from 12 noon to 8:00 p.m. The book sale is located in the FOL Building at 327 S. Michigan St.
Members of the public may donate used books, CDs, and DVDs to the Friends of the Library book sales. Donate your used books, CDs, and DVDs to the Friends of the Library book sale on the following days and times:
Mondays, 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Tuesdays, 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Thursdays, 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Fridays during the sale, 12:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. (12:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on First Fridays)
You may also drop off donations to any SJCPL location during open hours. (Please note Main Library is closed November 2019 - Summer 2021.)
